Points abound all over the world for the ultimate flyfishing experience. But, if you steelhead fish, then you do know the magnetic draw of the North. A pull toward Washington and onward into the vahalla of B.C., even into parts of Alaska. The picture denotes a gateway to wild potential. I have never experienced these premier rivers, probably never will. I do know and listen to young guns that are exploring the fabled waters now. They do have that goofy look when talking about it. I suspect that part of the draw, beyond the silver beauties, is the powerful scenery that compliments the possibilities of attaching to another form of powerful beauty.
