Women are no different in wanting how to info, visual stimulation and the comfort of supportive, non-judgemental information. These two sites are among many that address women and fly fishing. These two provide all the above factors to keep a woman moving forward into fly fishing and fly tying. I have highligted both before and believe the visuals are as important as the written in todays fly fishing world. Imagery, Eye Candy, Fish Porn all address what we need to stay motivated.

Big Water, Light Touch
Fishing the upper Kenai for rainbows is a different game from the high-octane king fishery in the lower river: light tackle and flies rather than heavy hardware, drift boats rather than power craft. Operating a 20-foot McKenzie in heavy current with four anglers aboard may sound like a job for an Olympic rowing champion, but Byrd-Coulliette refuses to consider her trim 5-foot-3inch frame a disadvantage at the oars.http://www.alaskamagazine.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=636&Itemid=141
Thanks to Yi

I would have to say that this is a great sport for women. My “main” fishing partner has been my friends wife and she can always snag a nice brown out of a hole I just fished and had turned up with nothing. I think we (male anglers) should do more to get female anglers involved.
