“Coment: Simple deer hair floating nymph. When
treated with floatant it is unsinkable.
Colors can be adjusted to suggest any
insect species. The type of deer hair
should be suited to the size of the pattern.
I normaly use hair from small roe deer.
For bigger nymphs red deer or elk hair may be used.”
Vladimir Markov has a nice site here, I believe from the Baikal region of Russia. Many innovative patterns and techniques worth a study. I think this is a very impressive pattern for rivers and stillwaters.
