This pattern is simplistic in design, but that Hot Orange bead is a great attractor as it tumbles down threw the currents beneath a strike indicator or supported by a dry fly. The bead color, like everything else in flytying, can be replaced by other colors, but I like the hot orange and hot green colors. I experimented with this fly this past October on the Deschutes R. and had some success with it in the few hours I tried it. I have not yet experimented with it on a lake.
