It seems, on the one hand, quite presumptuous for this Oregon FFer to tout Charles Jardine. But, because this site is for the beginner and it is presumed there is yet much to learn, I have to highlight a few things about Mr. Jardine, not because I know him, but because his writings and visuals have taught me so much (in my beginning phases and even most recently). His books ( I own two) have wonderful visuals for the beginner trying to piece together the how to’s of gear, presentation and flies.

After I initially left a comment I appear to have clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and from now on whenever a comment
is added I receive 4 emails with the exact same comment.
Is there an easy method you can remove me from that service?

Which post did you comment on and hit the notify me button? I am not certain I can change that on my end. I will chase it down though if you give me your particulars and the original post. Are you following me on WordPress. If so I think I know how to change the notification scheme. Let me know…
