Yes, yes I know. FFF pays for similar programs as this. And, these programs are meaningful worldwide. As FF numbers dwindle it is all the more important to generate stewards of our resources and those that understand sport fishing. FF’s should be careful not to legislate themselves right out of fishing in an effort to preserve the habitat. A recent survey at the Oregon FF Blog (excellent blog) disclosed that most of those completing the survey showed alarming disinterest in the habitat issues, something OFFB takes a lead in. For those that still wave a rod, and regardless of politics, the local and State governments are still the last best bastions in restoring our habitat and heritage.
