Was checking out an Outdoor Blog at Holler, when I came across this insulation option that has garnered recognition for Klymit gear. It seems pricey until you add up what some of you maybe paying for multiple synthetic layers now. I considered my layers of Merino Wool and a few other layers and the price tag approaches the realm of the Klymit insulated vest.
Inflatable and non-cumbersome, it appears to fit the bill for anyone waving their arms about, whether it is for downhill, cross country, snow shoeing, Winter steelheading, kayaking or pick your cold weather endeavor.

If you made the game….you probably warmed up with victory….I was sitting at home quite cold.. 😦 More cold coming….

The Klymit vest is incredible! I had a chance to put it to the test in a sub-zero freezer. It was -28 degrees in there!
After getting good and cold (that didn’t take long), I put on the Kinetic vest and in just a few moments felt a noticeable amount of warmth. After a couple of minutes, my torso was nice and toasty – but the rest of my body was freezing! Klymit’s insulation technology works, and works very well!
You can see that particular demo which aired on Salt Lake City’s KSL here:
