Not much to say about this pattern. Nothing too novel on my part. I just like the Starling feather and Ice Dub thorax.

I used a dubbing loop. I prefer that method. I use less dubbing and it brushes out better. If you are dubbing with super fine dubbing say for a dry fly then I twist it sparingly onto the thread and wrap. Either method works, but I believe a leaner thorax is produced with the loop.
