Opened shed door and stepped in to see scurrying critter to my left, by my foot. I thought by the size and movement it was a mouse. Upon further review it was a spider. Snapped a shot with the crackberry but a bit blurry. When I knelt down to take the picture, the critter attempted to grab my phone and text his friends. Creepy.

Given the size of the rear end, I would call it a ‘big ass’ spider!

looks like a wolf spider.
no tarantula, but they can get quite large.
my oldest boy would catch them and keep them as pets. feed them flies and crickets and giggle maniacly as their exoskeletons cracked.
i suppose it was no surprise that he grew up to be a bait fisherman.
