Re Sherri Brillon (CT News)
“You’re chairing a Calgary fundraising dinner for Trout Unlimited. Do you have some experience with fish?
The first time I caught a fish was at Lac La Biche, Alta., when I was about 8. I hauled it on the dirt path back to camp. And I’ve been fly fishing for 20 years. We live on the Bow River here in Calgary and it’s a blue-ribbon [fishing] river.”
One is a powerful woman as a novelty to the sport. The other, a powerful woman, with a much more interesting linkage to the sport. CFO to Encana, concerned about mergers and regulations, living on the Bow R. , sometimes fly fishing, chairing a TU fundraiser……… perhaps a more important story lies here than Ms. O and friend? This small piece re Ms. Brillon was all I could find re Ms. Brillon’s involvement in the sport, industry, or the habitat. Powerful woman in the energy industry and to some degree connected to the sport.
