I have a tree, that I randomly call the Tulip Tree. It is just starting to bloom tulip like flowers that are approximately 4-6″ long (the petals). The flowers are upright. The tree itself is at most 10′ high and about 15′ wide. I am not certain (why I am asking you to help) but I do not believe it is the Liriodendrum tulipifera tree (by virtue of its height/age and foliage). But, I could be quite wrong. Appreciate the guidance here. Magnolia! Thanks to all of you that provided the details. I have a Magnolia Tree (‘magnolia-x-soulangeana-family-magnoliaceae’)

Looks like a magnolia… Think that’s a concensus! 😉
