“It is a hard although a common case To find our children running restive- they In whom our brightest days we would retrace, Our little selves reform’d in finer clay, Just as old age is creeping on apace, And clouds come o’er the sunset of our day…” Lord Byron

Thank you MM….I enjoy yours as well, especially that red sunset…spectacular. I like that you are in tune with the horizon when not busy creating.

You are the same way! I am always watching the sky to see what’s next! REDs like that only happen when the cold and hot mix but it has to be just perfect for it to turn red! You usually see them more in the fall, but this summer it has been unusually cooler so I’m on the look out! You probably have more opportunities for them where you live! 😀 Have a super day!

Actually the red sky, of such magnitude, is a Fall event and rare here. Forest fires, usually in Central/Southern Oregon can filter smoke into the Willamette Valley and then I see Red filtered sunsets/sunrises. Your seems much less tainted…more pure. I have been grasping, unsuccessfully, in describing my passion and satisfaction with cloud formations, clouds influenced by the sunset, etc. Seems easy to throw adjectives at it, but there is something deeper and I just cannot piece together the words to describe it yet. Someday. Thanks!!!
