I was visiting the train station (Union Station) in Portland, Oregon. I noticed a large photo on the wall and particularly the car seemingly driving across the image with a blur suggesting motion, but no driver behind the wheel. Hmm?

It looks like the motion blur is not from the stationary car but one we cant see due to the blur and the long exposure, the cars we see are parked and therefore not effected by the long exposure.

Yes, I wondered if the camera was moved to the right with the long exposure? I have little knowledge of old cameras but assume the basics held true then as now. I found it fascinating them still created this very large photo to hang on the wall in the train station…blur and all. Thanks for responding!
