“Solitude is the soil in which genius is planted, creativity grows, and legends bloom; faith in oneself is the rain that cultivates a hero to endure the storm, and bare the genesis of a new world, a new forest.”

I agree, solitude is definitely underrated. Most people are on 24/7. Being an only child, I cultivated solitude and made a home for myself inside it…a place where I could think, read and create magic. I live there still. It’s a beautiful place. But I am a child of the city , as well, and I love Chicago and its never-ending noise and non-stop movement. However, as I walk through Chicago’s amazing and life affirming energy, I can still connect with Her silent places and hear Her voice. I need the City to find solitude. I am one with Chicago, She is my muse and I grew up under Her watchful eyes. She holds my heart.

Great quote. I’m putting that in my little book of copywork.
Not sure what those flowers are made of, but at first glance they looked liquid. Pretty neat. Nicely composed.
