I took this image perusing through the shed. Thought nothing much about it. Today, I decided it has a rustic, rural charm and the pitchfork is, bar none, one of the best implements devised by a peasant woman. But, trying to find a decent quote or poem about a pitchfork pushed me off into a netherworld, or is it the mainstream world?…when I looked into pitchfork. That’s one contemporary realm that made me feel I was Rip awakening to a new reality!  I did find ‘the difference between heaven and hell is how is on which end of the pitchfork’…not exactly the clever message I was looking for. Maybe I should have gone with the wash tub.
