That rock is outstanding.
While other rocks were swept away by the unceasing wind, shattered by the desert’s raging heat and deep cold, or weathered and withered away by time, that rock still stood.
And still stands.
Yet it, too, will one day crumble and be part of the earth again.
Thanks for your reminder of resistance and impermanence.
