“It’s spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you’ve got it, you want — oh, you don’t quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!” Mark Twain
While traveling over the recent holidays, I came upon this large pot at a friend’s home in California. The flower’s splash of color and the trailing plant was one of many to be enjoyed. At home (Portland) the Winter drabness of greys, browns, greens are waiting for the early colors of Rhododendrons, Camelias, Azaleas, Tulips, and Daffodils. The Daphne’s fragrance, by the front porch, will be appreciated. In the meantime I do need to finally climb up that ladder and fix that clogged gutter.

Desperately needing some Hi-Desert sun!!! Peace and quiets and cactus blooms……..only ten weeks to go!! Oh goodness that sounds soooooo far away.
