don’t we spend a lot of time shuffling along life’s trail looking downward to avoid the trips, stumbles and falls? We wait for the infrequent viewpoints to stop and look at the vista. But often the beauty is about us and missed as we navigate the hazards.

I always draw inspiration from plants that never give up. Blooming in the cracks is what life is all about. Thanks!

when you were young you probably shuffled along head down hoping not to be noticed
then you figured out that you needed to see where you were going and the world changed…in a lot of respects
you get older and your joints and bones tell you that you’ve become vulnerable so down your eyes go
looking up is better…I figure I have fairly good health insurance
on a somewhat different tack
I used to have coffee with a trapper/hunter…his advice was to stop and look behind you…the world you’d passed through was different than you thought and that coyote you had walked by was standing there looking surprised
