They seem to do alright with rain…a few days of no water and the close up/withdraw a bit. Mine get afternoon sun and that may be a touch too much. They over wintered well…3rd year…and seem to be spreading out. The soil is not the best where they are, but they are doing alright if I water them now and then. Best wishes!!!

I just planted these as a ground cover for my daughter’s garden. Do you find the collapse in rain and look somewhat smothered?
