Rhyacophila (Green Sedges) Caddisfly Larva and Pupa Info at TroutNut

The Kudra Nymph is an all purpose nymph that I tied as an early effort as a Czech Nymph pattern. Very basic, but it has been a pleasant surprise in size 12-16’s. There are simpler patterns with beads, VRib, Liquid Lace, dubbing etc. Mix up the colors, ribbing and wing/leg material. A fat little morsel is called for. Trout Nut has tons of info and pics to peruse. Your fly tying imagination will take care of the rest.
Woven Polish Nymph Style. I have posted several times re this style and how to do the weave. Mix the abdomen colors up to get the perfect pupa colors of green, tan, and that blend of speckled, greyish, greenish and tan. On pupa patterns if ribbing is used, remember to try wire beyond copper, gold, silver or black. There are many colored ribbing wires available now. If your shop does not carry them, they are easily ordered. That ribbing sets off the segmentation and shades of green and browns can be had to contrast with the dubbing.

http://www.shopwiki.co.uk/Ultra+Lace+Tubing Robin would the site to the Left have a similar product. I queried Google and did not find a UK vendor for Liquid Lace. Or, write the fellow that created it at: http://www.uniqueflyfishing.com/index.php?page=contact. He may tell you if he is yet distributing to UK. His name is Ed Smith. He lives in Kamloops, B.C.
