Tip from SwittersB visitor Maureen Clancy re BOUNCER FLIES. This always looks like a novel idea, but I have not actively pursued this. Have any of you for river flies?

They have been extremely productive for me this season here on the Baltic Gary purely because they bounce over the rocks which cover the bottom around the entire Island…. I’ve tied them different colours but have found the black with a smattering of bucktail the best combination. I haven’t used them on rivers yet but will next spring on the Merikarvia river and give you some feedback. I prefer to fish elevated on rivers, and mainly use my Gurglebugs and Divers,but will definitely give the Rattle n Hum a good test run now since readings Maureen’s website.
