A while back, I posted re a Prince Nymph with the biot tail clipped and I called it a Pauper. Of no consequence, but the more I look at one of the pics, I think it is worth a second look and further consideration for a Caddis Pupa fly pattern.
I like the Pauper. The Prince is, for sure, a great fly. But, I like the simplicity of your Pauper. I notice no bead head. Is the fly weighted on the shank?

Yes, there are a few wraps of .025 lead wire about the mid shank. The peacock is a great fly tying material isn’t it?
