Month Back: Hey, to the two fly guy pricks that upon exiting the Deschutes River, near the Blue Hole…. cut the brake line of the car belonging to the two black fly fishermen you passed on the way out: You’re pricks! YOU may recall who you were, you met the black fly fishermen in John Hazel’s Shop (Amy working). Hazel, perhaps you remember the black guys in your shop and perhaps the pricks that were there too.
Then you pricks and only you, fished near the black fishermen on the river. The tow bill, the enormous inconvenience, the obvious act of fucking racists. I would cap your fucking ass. Don’t bother providing any qualifiers re Hazel…not the issue. Just may help someone identify them for the WCSO/OSP (Report filed). Oh, the owner of the car: Vet, multiple campaigns over seas in 15 years as Navy Seal. You pricks? I can only guess your’ pussy creds. Oh, the pricks drive a white Subaru.

Man…that’s a pretty upsetting story.
Last month I pulled off on a spur road leading to a part of the Upper D below Wikiup. At the end of the road there was a reasonable sized parking area with numerous campsites. There was one family camped there. I wasn’t really planning on camping there but I wanted to stretch and look at the river so I got out. The ‘man’ of the camp started F-Bombing me about how he’d never pull up on my front lawn. At the next spur I met a nice man camped with his six sons who said they pulled off a the same place and the man was cordial so I can’t help but think I was getting the special Chinese treatment. Oh well… the guy will meet someone who is just like him and hopefully they’ll hurt each other.

It is disgusting that people like this still exist. I am stunned that someone would go to such lengths, potentially kill people, because of their bigotry, hatred and obvious ignorance.

It is repulsive…the Oregon State Trooper that came along the access road and helped the victims scope out what had happened, said he had never seen such an incident along the Deschutes R. The black fly fishers had not violated any fly fishing etiquette by encroaching on a drift (even if they had, it would not warrant this response). No other cars came by during the time of the incident. It was a terrible incident. The sad thing in all this is in talking to the owner of the car. He is a remarkable, kind man. A gentle man that has seen too much in life and deserves to be allowed that sacred spot on a river to cleanse his mind. He is so saddened by the act. I get so fired up over this and excuse my language, but such a man, that has served his country above and beyond what most would do today, is worthy of so much more….yet, he does not discuss it. He does not want special any thing. He just wants to be left alone. He brought a friend to introduce him to the pleasues of fly fishing. I have fished with this man. He is an extraordinary man.

Where I come from that is called attempted murder. Also, where I come from, capping their ass is called justice.
