A few days ago, I lamented my G4 Simms Boots and the fit that had more than once contributed to my painfully hobbling some distance back to the rig in a slow progression of steps, sometimes wading. The boots just never fit right and for the money, I felt I was going to make it work. Well, I couldn’t. So yesterday, while in Eugene, I mentioned it to the Chris Daughters @ The Caddis Fly Shop he said bring them in and lets see what we can do. I wasn’t expecting much as I could not totally explain the odd fit I experienced once donning the boots. They looked fine, but fit unlike any other wading boots I had owned. Well, today I brought them in and I will just say that Lou Verdugo (always a prince) and Chris displayed the customer service and positive attitude that will forever garner my business when near that region. Excellent shop. Excellent Service. Excellent knowledge without attitude. I walked out with a pair of Simms Guide Boots that were a much better fit thanks to Lou & Chris. Oh, and I sprung for a new Airflo Tactical Skagit Compact @ 540 grains. Less whining now. OFFB too.
