There are many excellent fly tiers out there. Quite a few are taking their precise, beautiful tying and combining it with their own photographic form of art. Often delicate offerings, as is the case with David Stenström’s, that are classic Catskill style beauties and wonderfully presented. Check out all of David’s work at Strenstromflies.Blogspot. These are not patterns for the beginning tier. There is not a lot of step by step. Consider it visual inspiration for tying and photography for those of us that struggle with both aspects of the art form.
