Emma wanted to apologize first for her somewhat off putting photo of her surgery site. Nonetheless, she is better, almost too well. Finally, up and alert, slowly walking outside to take care of business and contemplating the stairs (not ready for that yet). Slow and easy on those front muscles. Again, thanks for the well wishes…much appreciated. Amazing that just this past Wednesday we were holding our collective breath for a positive outcome. So far, so good.

looking good!

Good news. Dogs always recover faster and need less meds to get through than humans. Maybe we’re just too soft.

Aw, so sweet. What happened? I just visited your blog for the first time, so I’m sorry if you mentioned it before. I remember when my dog needed knee surgery and how difficult that was to handle. Hope she gets better quickly!

Thank you. A ruptured disc. The location was problematic and her ticker is not as it should be. But, she has more heart than I imagined. Thank you for commenting too!
