Always drawn to pioneer history and the transitions to modern times. This farm house is a mile away from my house and unique for the area. It has an avid following of preservationists and storytellers. This all ties together the farming communities of East Portland that have all but disappeared.

I love old houses, I wish I could go on a tour of the ones near the east coast. The house Rick and I bought when we moved to PA when our kids were 3 and 5 was a 100 year old Victorian that had been very well cared for…unfortunately after we sold it to come back to Az it fell into disrepair and now looks more like a shanty. I was furious when I saw it and now wish that we had held on to it. This is such a beautiful house. Thank you for sharing this picture. It made me smile. 🙂
