Last summer, I was bitten 7 times by deer ticks (and one lone star tick)….just from walking around in my yard (the grass was cut and short. I wasn’t even walking in the woods or weeds ). The winter prior to that had been warm so there were more ticks than usual. I was giving medication several times, just to be on the safe side.
I hope this summer is different. I was starting to feel like a tick magnet.

Lyme disease is devastating . My next door neighbors, who loved camping were infected before anyone really knew anything about the disease. There are ways to avoid the problem. And if caught early, there is no lasting effects. Thanks for bringing up this subject.
