Every once in awhile, I drive by this industrial area of Portland and off in the distance is this tunnel. That voice calls, you should check that out and take some pictures. Usually, I do not have my camera or I’m in a hurry. Yesterday, I had my little Pentax Optio W60, so I stopped to snap a few shots after hiking in a ways.

These are some great shots yeah the tunnle shot gets me mind wondering its kinda freaky. but then im thinking how it would have been to ride on a train back in 1910 . well thank you for the great pictures

Thank you Joe. I love trains, especially the old locomotives.

These are awesome shots — that tunnel, especially, speaks to me, calls me to write stories. Love it when a photo does that — thanks for sharing!

Nice shots–this tunnel really looks spooky. I dare you to walk from one end to the other. I would bring a flashlight and some pepper spray…..

I know! That is exactly what I thought AND I so want to know what is on the other side! I know a train or two crawl through there during the day…the crawl probably faster than my old legs could muster. Thanks for dropping by and commenting.

No problem. Maybe you can also film a short horror film about it and call it The Tunnel. There are no real monsters in it, but whoever attempts to go through will encounter their worst fears.
