Random shots from gardens, here and there, giving off shades of red. Shades of greens, blue, yellows and white are all pleasing this time of year. But, red is the most pleasing to me. Not sure why, but next to a healthy green, red is it.
The Garden’s Shades of Red…………

Great stuff. Are you getting any fishing done these days? Haven’t seen much activity from you along those lines recently.
I have had family illnesses, work, my tennis elbow and generally life getting in the way, but I should have some new fishing posts coming up this week. In fact in Scotland just now we are in the middle of a heatwave a rare occurrence here but tonight after work it looks very fishy so I am heading off up into the hills for a spot of late night dry fly work, should be good.
Keep up the great posts and get out there onto the water. Best John

No…much the same I am sad to say. Illnesses, much more demanding work schedule (new fiscal year/sales push..yadda yadda yadda) and we still have the second of two massive hoarding cleanups to finish by Fall (Hoarding Woes & You blog). We have some stuff (rivers/lakes) scheduled hopefully for October. Maybe a little Summer steelheading but my life is really locked down. And, of course, this does not help a fly fishing blog!!!! 🙂 But that is life for anyone but a trout bum. We see light at the end of the tunnel though and after Fall the dust comes off the gear! Thanks for reaching out and I hope you enjoyed your outing.
