If you see this lady turning clockwise you are using your right brain
If you see the lady turning anti-clockwise you are using left brain
Some people do see both ways, but most people see it only one way. See if you can make her go one way and then the other by shifting the brain’s current. BOTH DIRECTIONS CAN BE SEEN. Experimentation has shown that the two different sides, or hemispheres, of the brain are responsible for different manners of thinking.
Differences Between the Left & Right Brain
| Left Brain | Right Brain |
| Logical | Intuitive |
| Sequential | Random |
| Analytical | Holistic |
| Rational | Synthesizing |
| Objective | Subjective |
| Looks at part | Looks at whole |
Most individuals have a distinct preference for one of these styles of thinking. Some, however, are more whole-brained and equally adept at both modes. In general, schools tend to favor left-brain modes of thinking, while downplaying the right-brain activities. Left-brain scholastic subjects focus on logical thinking, analysis, and accuracy.
Right-brained subjects, on the other hand, focus on aesthetics, feeling, and creativity. If you look away, she may switch from one direction to the other. I found that if I just look at her feet or relax and look at the floor where the reflection shows, she will switch direction! (MIND MOTIVATIONS)
I have repeatedly looked at the image and it spins clockwise or right side brain…one time, it momentarily spun counter clockwise and then corrected back.

Wow this is so cool I’m just now seeing it! I saw it both ways. So amazing.

identification can be quite frustrating for us. we see them in totally different contexts.
we’ve known that to be true for a very long time…now we know why!

When I was tired last night and trying to be creative the lady went anti clockwise. This morning awake and alert clock wise! Interesting !

I see in both directions. I have been tested and am 51 per cent right brain/49 per cent left. An experiment I just tried…….draw a flower on a scrap piece of paper, the lady turns clockwise (right). Then, on a scrap piece of paper, write 2 + 2= 4, 4 + 4=8, 8 + 8= 16, 16 + 16……….. keep going like that and she will turn counterclockwise.

Look at you! Well my brain cells seem to be rebelling a bit…preferring the Right side today…I will try again soon. Thanks! Well now….I came back to this and your mathematical calculations sent me into a total Counter-clockwise mode. My crappy drawings could not bring me back to the Right side. Interesting.

Lol! Hmmm…. I wonder if it was because you were using logic to interpret why it was happening, hence the left brain. I noticed that when I was trying to reason why, the left brain hijacked the right. When I was just having fun drawing, the right said, “woohoo!” and the lady started twirling clockwise.
