“I never said, ‘I want to be alone.’ I only said ‘I want to be let alone!’ There is all the difference.” Greta Garbo (Garbo)
Our 70 pound (that’s what she says she weighs), devoted Lab, Emma, sometimes reverts back to that smaller, soft eared lap dog. Except now she is a lug. I will take the weight, the hair, the moment.
Love your blog!

Hi, Switt, what a sweetheart girl she is! Labs have the “look” that wins over anybody with anything resembling a heart. I see that you have resorted to having leather furniture like me. The dog hair, oh, the dog hair! The leather solved that problem, although my husband hated the feel of it. He couldn’t snuggle in his down-filled fabric-covered sofa cushions to nap and watch is auto racing. It took about thirty days for him and the dogs to transform the most stain-resistant fabric into a dog bed! I love this portrait.

I have come to know that most Labs are just lovers , that is they will beat you to death with there tail because they are happy to just be with you. Some want to lick you all over if they could get there way. Like your picture they will keep you where they want you by getting in your lap because they love you.
