As we traveled up Tahquitz Canyon the terrain was dry, dusty and radiating heat. With a drought ongoing in California, the lack of water would not be surprising. As we moved up the canyon the sound of water came within ear shot. In the end, the desolate little canyon had beautiful riffles, deep pools, waterfalls and signs of past raging waters. A refreshing find.
