photography-stimulator-green pupa-callibaetis-wine stone-SwittersBI had some time the other day to take some macro shots of some patterns I had tied some time ago. I wasn’t home with the usual setup. I set up on a dusty table and snapped away. The shots were blurry. I found myself hunched over looking into the camera while looking over the top of my glasses and nothing ever looked crisp. We are so dependent on our eyesight. Now it seems like adjust the lens and hope for the best. Kind of like it always it…but more so now. The fly patterns shown are: Stimulator (UL), Green Caddis Pupa (UR), Little Brown Stone (LL), Callibaetis Mayfly Nymph (LR).

A little better: Kaufmann Dragon Fly…an excellent stillwater pattern.
