I was never too enamored with Floribunda Roses. Less tidy, too unkempt, too something that just fell short of the tight, crisp beauty of the Hybrid Tea Roses. But, of late, I rescued a few Floribundas, not knowing their genetics, so to speak, when I took them. And, I have to say, they are growing on me in an old fashioned sort of way. They keep on giving and giving and love the hot sun.

It does smell nice. A little lavender and rosemary would help but later on that. Thank you MM!

Oh so they bloom later!! That will be very nice. I have an entire front yard of Roses and my girl says the front yard smells sweet! 😀

Yes, it is odd when a Rose does not have much of a scent. By ‘later’ I meant later I will plant them. They would be in full bloom for sure by now and I am a sucker for their smells although they get very ungainly in most gardens. Have a great day!
