I wonder, in the day of little convenience, what would I have done? Would I have hunkered down near those rocks? When would I, or someone with me, have started wondering what is on the other side of that distant ridge? Would I have settled or gathered myself to go see what was beyond that ridge top?
Risks, challenge, questions, courage, fatigue, settling, imagination, curiosity, life, change.

This is in the northern half of Joshua Tree National Park in California….just before the Hidden Valley area.

I would have gotten my legs in gear and took off for those mountains. When I was younger, I truly explored the world. So, I bet you would have done the same thing if you lived in the distant past. Ah adventure, how exciting life can be, when you venture into the unknown. Such beautiful scenery.
