Spanish Bluebells: Invasive, maniacal, beautiful….these pesky plants will take over in short order. I have declared war on this plant. I am not sure where it came from, but in three short years it is popping up everywhere. Beauty and color aside…their time is numbered (I think).

As hard as you work in your garden…perhaps in a pot…it is still a mystery how they are spreading throughout the neighborhood. There are reportedly a spreading tuber/bulb affair but there has to be more….they are in spots where they weren’t last year and have spread in a large pattern. They are resistant to ‘nuking’ and I have dug up hundreds of bulbs and then I leave a little, tiny root fiber behind…boom! 🙂 Hey…things good be way worse right?
