Thank you Anita…I don’t get that many compared to most out there, but I have just found people that I enjoy and ‘liked’ them consistently. Also, like minded tend to attract so I watch who else visits these enjoyable sites and visit their site. Often, there is magic there as well to enjoy or ‘like’. It takes time to garner followers. It is hard to keep up with new arrivals and to reciprocate by visiting their site. Life is busy so I just try to truly enjoy and comment and ‘like’ the treasures out there. A lot of magic out there as I am sure you know. You have a wonderful mix of appealing topics: travel, photography, recovery, positivity, writing….best wishes with your magic.
Oh thanks so much SwittersB! I really appreciate your feedback! Yes I love to read other peoples blogs its great to see so many creatives expressing themselves. Love that. It is quite the journey! So many opportunities. I just love it. I start a big trip Monday so will be blogging all about that so thats good. How often do you post?? xx
Oh enjoy that trip. I try to post everyday. That is easier for me given the visual content vs. extensive writing/creativity etc. I just do that as an enjoyable benchmark. Not sure it results in anything demonstrable. Sometimes once a day and rarely more that three times….just what strikes my fancy I spose.
Thanks so much for the re share!! Loving the likers!
Lately I have been on such a roll I have been posting daily too. My usual is 2 or 3 times a week but I think I will try posting a few longer length writing pieces and a few short ones too. I notice the short ones do really well. Anything goes right? That’s what is so great about having your own blog! Huge creative outlet. Have a great day 🙂 xx
Thank you Sue. Fly fishing is as intricate/complex as you want it to be…many layers to explore for years (entomology, habitat, fly tying, gear). At its basic level, it is not as complicated to learn if attention is given to where (easily fished waters/backdrop for casting ease) and the mechanics are kept simple (short casts/roll casts). Probably like riding a bike…as complicated, expensive, demanding as you want to make it…thanks again.
Great photos! How do you get so many likes??

Yes the attention span really varies. Many cruise for the quick hit. Visuals and words. But don’t give up on the longer prose. Good luck!!!

Both gorgeous photos. I fished as a kid but have never tried fly fishing. Is it challenging to learn?
