A kind offering from a visitor last year…after the single stem had produced a single flower I stuck it in the ground and forgot it. This year, it came back and is bursting forth. I had never really studied up on the Lilly and now learn they spread via tubers. This plant now has a half dozen stems at least popping up from the original single stem.


These are my wife’s favorites. Sometimes we even get lucky enough to spot a few growing in the neighbor’s yards. Maybe we will get lucky enough to spot some in the “wild” soon.
