This is a nice close-up of the flower. I’m assuming it a rose. My wife and I have quite a few rose bushes at our house. I am always adding more. It’s a great story about our roses as we bought the house with them. The roses have become very special to us as we lost a baby son who passed away. We use the roses regularly bringing them to the cemetery at his grave site. Again it’s a beautiful rose. Is this part of a rose bush at your residence?
that is a beautiful commitment to and use of the roses. Most of ours were my Mom/Dad’s & dear Aunt. All moved and nurtured through the transitions. We can only look at them as a reminder of the past. So very sorry for your profound loss. Thank you for sharing that Matt.

Oh, to further clarify Matt, the roses (save 6 in front) are in the backyard…27 spread out in the back yard.
