What kind of surface is it — Is this a metal serving tray or a mirror? It could be a one-of-a-kind hand-painted item. Is it too late to ask elderly family members? The scene looks to me like a local ferry service taking women to a market town — the women at front has an empty shopping basket, maybe on her way to town.

it appears to be a painting or print in a very old frame…I have not torn into the frames backing because I do not own the piece…someone contacted me and could see something on the oar…’Renoir’ but so far I do not see that via the blurry pic. Tomorrow I will again personally inspect the piece…not in my possession so took the pic and posted. I have to travel back to better inspect all angles of the piece. I will have more soon. Was hoping someone would recognize the piece.
