Having been bed bound/post op, of late, I have not been able to leave the house to enjoy the unusually prolific bloom fest outside…particularly the roses and clematis. Normally, I tend to the garden and snap away at blooms and have that connected sense one feels as it all comes together in late Spring. My Spring has sprung.
My wife often is one step ahead of me taking cuttings of roses and filling vases for the house. Normally, I would rather just leave the flower in the garden than display it in the house…just a personal preference. But, a lovely vase of cut roses wound up on my nightstand yesterday. As I awoke from yet another drug induced nap, I saw the lovely display my wife had presented me….and, I managed to take a photo of one of the blooms in the vase. Beauty inside and out…

An image is worth a thousand words…. indeed!…

Well things could always be far worse right? Some serious fine tuning of tendons/ligaments in ankle from two outdoor adventures. I am slowly mending…just bored. You certainly know how the first month or so goes. Appreciate the outreach Derrick.
