Hello – would like some information on Ancient Macedonian fishing…. I am producing a documentary on fly fishing in the Catskills and have a short history moment where I talk about the origins of fly tying. I need to get some photos of ancient macedonians like the ones you used in a blog….wondering if you have any sources?
Aaron I don’t. I have no contacts in SE Europe in the fly fishing culture these days. I would research fly fishers (blogs) in that region and see if they have more than an interest in catching fish etc and know the history. I see some activity on a Facebook page Fly Fishing Macedonia.
