… from AA a long time ago. we learned this with the chemical medium and it transfers well to the digital.
since a lot of people ask, i never use photoshop, just the basic iPhoto adjustments.
anyhow, you’ve noticed my fascination with water so thanks for sharing this image !
cheers,
marc
Oh stop being facetious! You know full well what that signifies, suggests and really is…… A really cool shot. Did you see that much texture before the shot and then take it or discover more afterwards?
haha ! nope, i wasn’t kidding. i just thought you ‘saw’ something in the image, (like we can see faces in the clouds ) and you turned it into a challenge, that all. i see a lot of things in other peoples pics but i usually keep my findings to myself…
tough question to answer, i hope it doesn’t sound snotty.
i always know what to expect before pressing the shutter. studying the medium and realizing it’s limitations was just one of the things i picked up from Ansel Adams
No very interesting. And, I guess, from a potentially appearing snottiness, I thing a fly fisher eventually or intuitively sees seams or soft spots even in moving/shifting water, if that makes sense. That shot has so much texture with the settings. Really nice.
that makes a lot of sense and i guess you are right. after a while we see things that combine the practical (fishing) and the aesthetics and it all blends together. . it’s all a big blur to me !…
Your blog brings me much joy. I am not only following in, but have forwarded it to many friends. Because I find you blog interesting, entertaining and just plain wonderful I have nominated you for a “Versatile Blogger Award” Congratulations….continue to pay it forward.
