Sometimes, which is not nearly enough in my life, the eyes recognize the girth, thickness, width of a nice fish. When the hand attempts to wrap around the belly the hand confirms the size and the other hand will be reaching for the wrist of the tail. It is a special sensory moment, don’t you agree. I can marvel at the slender little gems of a trout too, but once in awhile, it’s in the feel as well.
