It was…I was trying to load furniture in a downpour and sought shelter in the garage…standing there muttering at my inconvenience, I glanced over at these little violets all a twitter as boulders rained down upon the delicate petals.
Yes, that False Spring gets us every time. Elation over some warmth and then boom, snow in the passes, thunder, deluges…typical. I got a lot of early work done though with more still needed. Reducing size of beds…in certain areas and going to take better care of the roses this year. Here’s to us and soggy soil for a while longer! 🙂
