though your quote is quite clever the crows I’ve known and watched seem to see opportunities to further their self interest rather than evil.
all the corvids appear intelligent far beyond their “bird brain” appellation
when I am out in the bush I treasure the simple cawcaw that says i’m not a threat or have remained unseen
when they call like that I slowly swing a circle trying to find their sentries at varying heights and once I have found them I know I can find the rest of their mob feeding at ground level
very organized birds
while i’m not overly fond of vultures they do fill a need
for me it is an indication that something interesting is up ahead
